Lowest Price Dahua 4K PTZ IP Camera

Yeah it's the old cannon/Nikon mp sales Pitch war. I understand that. Still like the 2.8. Don't get me wrong, it's not horrible and the day pic justifies it but there is a noticeable difference. Would love this same 4mp camera in a 1.9 offering like the starlight. I may even go as far to adding...

Lowest Price Dahua 4K PTZ IP Camera

man, I suck at that review stuff. Its a nice cam, wish they used a 2.8 sensor instead of the 1/3 for better night vision. Also was told that the ivs model is not released yet. Mine only has face or motion detection.

Lowest Price Dahua 4K PTZ IP Camera

I would be very careful about using a 4K cam unless ur using it for day only viewing or in color mode with allot of available light at night. The higher the mp , the worse the night vision gets unless you move into the starlight series which uses a 1.9 sensor I believe. The newer 4mp cameras are...

"Smart Detect" feature of Dahua camera!

Yes 2 of them. 1 Hunisun, 1 Sunba, 1 Dahua, 1 Avigalon. All onif cams should work well. Only time you may have a issue is with NOn Dahua PTZ. 90 percent of the time you can control the movement but not so much the presets, tours, scans, etc. I use a mix of cams depending on my needs. However in...

"Smart Detect" feature of Dahua camera!

What would be a good contact to put on the interior of a door so when someone opens the door to the house, the input will alarm the big black face to check it out as well as the NVR to send a push notification to my iphone? Also any thought on using a wireless contact and hooking the receiver to...

What is the best PTZ camera for $350-$400 ?

Oh.....I also Had a Sunba 501 and 601 model. There is no comparison in build quality, zoom capability, firmware, and software to what the Dahua offers for the price.

What is the best PTZ camera for $350-$400 ?

I agree. I would go with the Dahua. I have the same one but in 4mp. The 2mp posted with give slighty better night vision. I also have a Hunisun 10x ptz. The extra money is well worth it. I tried saving money going with cheaper options, and eneded up with the Dahua!

    Any experiences with the NVR4216-4K

I also use SmartPSS on occasion when setting by my imac. My NVR is hooked up via HDMI on a 55" 4k TV and its just 2 much fun to look around the street at 30x sometime. I only use the camera webUI for the camera settings and to set the PTZ presets, etc. Glad to hear you haven't had many problems...

    Any experiences with the NVR4216-4K

Yep same one. I sent a email just because to see if there is anything newer. Only thing I'm not really liking thus far is the fact that you can only use the Ptz fuctions in single full screen mode on the NVR. Some others I have used allow you to use the Ptz fuctions in a multi window view...

I also have a 4216-4k PAL version NVR with a mix of PAL and NTSC cameras and they all work fine. I have my nvr hooked up via HDMI to a 4K tv and its my understaning that HD tvs can adjust to eithier.
