Did you use DH_NVR5XXX-I_MultiLang_V4.002.0000000.1.R.220211 or DH_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.002.0000000.2.R.220120 ?I got it from here: LINK
Well, this is a thread I started in April 2020, but I am totally confused all over again. I have the NVR5216-16P-4KS2 (not the E, I think the E came out about 3 minutes after receiving my 4KS2). Again, looking through available firmware versions, there is one that is compatible with NVR5216-16P-4KS2E (but no 4KS2) and NVR5216-8P-4KS2 but not 16P), and another version compatible with NVR5216-4KS2 (but no 16P). What the heck? I seem to remember this happening the last time I looked, so I used the one that was closest (the one that had the 8P-4KS2), but I'm not sure about that. Is there one of them I can use??
If it helps, I'm currently running V4.001.0000000.1, Build Date: 2020-03-19
FWIW, I am not having any major issues and don't really NEED to update, but 1) I just like staying up to date, and 2) occasionally the video timestamps get all messed up.
Hello! Need your help! I want to update the firmware of my registrar, but I can’t find it, help me with this please
Will this firmware work on a NVR5216-16P-4KS2E with a build date of 2018-11-02? Attached is the version screen and is it still available for download? I clicked the link but it's no longer available from the destinationTry this one. But your NVR is 2017, So i am not very sure if your NVR is V2 or V1.![]()

I have been looking through the DaHua website and I found this one you mention. But the release notes state it supportsSo it looks like DH_NVR5XXX_4KS2_MultiLang_V4.002.0000000.8.R.241030.bin is the last firmware update
My NVR is the 4KS2E. Some have been successful. It is recommended to update in steps instead of one giant leap. I did three steps to upgrade to the latest firmwareI have been looking through the DaHua website and I found this one you mention. But the release notes state it supports
NVR5216-16P-4KS2E.
I've got half a mind to try it anyway, (make that a quarter of a mind since I have already lost half of it), but if it fails I could possibly be looking at a bricked NVR.
