Hi All,

One for the nature lovers. For the past few years a pair of Swans have been nesting in the garden.

The time is incorrect as the Dauha refuses to update.

They are so beautiful and graceful...but I understand they can be pretty ferocious, especially if nesting or have babies nearby...I've seen those videos too!:headbang:

Do you have other cams on the same network that update properly?
Have you tried other NTP servers and IP addresses?

Hi Tony, the male you can touch and hand feed, but the female gets a little cranky if you get too close.

The other cams are all HIKS and are OK. I turned off the clock and powered down (a reboot did not work) and the time has gone. So may just need a another power down that will have to wait until I get home.

Not tried another NTP, good idea thanks.

Yes, that should work OK in the cam IF the cam can access the Internet.
Because I use NetTime on my PC as a time service, it's set up with "0.nettime.pool.ntp.org", and for time sync my cam looks at my server's LAN IP and same port 123.

Yeah sorry.

Seems keeping a stream live on YouTube beyond 24 hours or so is impossible.

If anybody has any tips let me know. I might raise a case with Synology as it’s hosed via surveillance station.

I’ll put it back up tonight when I finish outside.
