Hello, I bought a Hikvision NVR model DS-7604NI-E1/4P open box (supposed to have never been installed) and am having trouble accessing it.
When I turn the box on and let it boot, I get a screen with a bell icon in the top right and an icon with an exclamation in the bottom left.
If I try to click the bell or the screen I get a login prompt. It has the name "admin" filled in and wants a password. It also says the NVR is locked. Sorry for the bad pics, it is my cell phone camera.
The quick start guide that came in the box says the default password is "12345", but when I type that in I get an incorrect password message:
So how can I get into this box to set it up? I am stuck at this point. Thanks for any help you can offer.
