Having trouble with substream.

I just got these cameras set up and the livestream looks great at night but the recording is crap and much lower res. The daytime livestream and recording look the same(great). I've attached three snapshots. Not sure what I might have done to affect this? Camera is a IP5M-T1179EW-28MM

Edit, looks like a problem with substream

After checking some files it doesn't look like it has anything to do with nighttime. The daytime pic above is a livestream, I just check a daytime recording and it looks like crap as well. I think I'll do a reset on the camera in case I borked the settings, when I was in there earlier today
 
Appears to be a problem with the substream recording, when I turn off substream it looks great and cpu usage goes up a bit.

When I use the drop down menu in Stream profiles and pick substream 1 recordings look like crap and cpu usage goes down.

Mainstream /cam/realmonitor?channel={CAMNO}&subtype=0&authbasic={AUTH64}

Substream 1 /cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=1&unicast=true&proto=Onvif

I'm new to BI and substreams but this is the same way I did it with two other cams IP8M-T2499EP-28mm and cpu usage dropped and the recordings look like my livestream. I checked the camera setting and this model does support substreams. What am I missing here?
 
Not sure if this is the problem, but It got me until I worked it out. Under the Convert/Export menu, make sure to uncheck 'Use sub stream if available'. I'm running 9 cameras, using sub-streams but recording main stream and CPU usage between 10 - 15%.

In my post above I used the find/inspect but then changed the Make to Amcrest giving the weird stream profile that fenderman spotted. So I went ahead and reinstalled the camera and reset it to factory defaults. I used the default mainstream and substream drop menus and attached a screenshot below of my stream profiles. Problem still persists. I attached a short clip of my recording which looks bad and a screenshot of the livestream that looks good.

I swapped them and it does improve the recording but it spikes my cpu usage from 11% up to 29%, thats what happened when I did it with the old profile, with just 3 cams(2x8mp and 1x5mp) (computer is Ryzen 2700+ 16GB, 500ssd, 4TB WD Purple for BI recordings) Screenshot shows the stream profile.

Delete the camera in blue Iris and start over

I deleted the camera in BI this morning and started over, thats is where I'm at now. Deleted camera and set on default substream profiles cpu usage is good but recording look like crap reversed them and get good recordings but cpu spikes. I've read through the wiki/substream guide and tried just about everything I can think of.

Maybe its is an issue with my i-frame? In my cameras web interface the sub stream defaults to 704 x 480 (DI) but in BI on image format it defaults to 2848 x 1944 and 20fps and will not let me chage it to 704 x 480 (doesnt save the change) when I try. screenshot below

What exact version of BI are you using?
 
Ok we got it. When I deleted the camera and then reinstalled it, the video compression defaults back to re-encode. I must have changed it to "direct to disk" when I first set up the cameras and completely forgot about it on the new camera install. That must be why my cpu was spiking. (still new to BI and yes I've been reading the BI help, the wiki and every forum thread I can find here)

Changed it back to Direct to disk and fixed the Stream profiles. Everything looks good right now and my CPU is about 7% with 3 cameras on continuous record.
