IDK about you guys and your cameras, but mine doesn't really seem to catch anything worth while. It does seem to catch an inordinate amount of things that happen to me, like this one.

Steve
FOSCAM - NVR + 8 indoor cameras
NVR + 5 outdoor cameras

I saw that coming....how come you didn't see that coming?

That's what my wife said. She said "You already dodged it once. Why didn't you see it the second time?" I think I was too focused on rinsing out my coffee mug that I ended up dumping on the floor. It was a surprise, that's for sure.

As long as your balls didn't get bruised, then its all good :)
What cameras are you using outdoors?

Your daytime quality is good, but what about nighttime? I'm assuming CH04 is acting as an overview camera, right? If I'm not mistaken Foscam and Amcrest are essentially the same company now

Night time isn't too bad. I don't know what to say about Amcrest and Foscam. I don't think all of their stuff is compatible. That's why I've stuck with Foscam all this time. I have 2 NVRs and 13 cameras total.

It looks like the IR from other cameras helps out the nightvision quality. Have you considered upgrading to the international Dahua models that are frequently discussed here?

I do think the IR from the additional camera is helping. I've thought about switching out my cameras, but since I have so many, it's a big investment. Since I have indoor and outdoor separated, I may just do outdoor. I haven't dug too deep into other camera options yet. Having a good NVR is also important to me.

This is why I have a laundry tub in a separate, small room with the washer and dryer ( a laundry room, duh...).

Glad to hear "the boys" got by with only minor bruises. :highfive:

Same here. I don't even know what my wife was doing with the sponge mop. I'll definitely be keeping away next time. Or I'll gird my loins with some armor.
