Camera going in and out - pink and white lines

Running BI server. One outdoor camera will randomly have a night where footage starts showing these pink lines. Sometimes the connection will drop completely and come back on own. Did notice it when weather got really cold at night but not sure if anything to do with it.
is this connection issue or hardware problem with actual camera?

Did you properly water proof the connection to the camera outdoors?
Die-electric grease in the rj45 jack and coax seal around the entire connection.
Take the camera down and use a short known good cable to test.

I am plug the ethernet cable from the router side and powered it back up. The video came back completely. It is doing a little bit of stuttering at the bottom of the screen but the picture is back. Pretty sure I had it set up in the waterproof connection that comes with my cameras. But I’ll take it down and doublecheck I am plug the ethernet cable from the router side and powered it back up. The waterproof boots that come with most cameras are not adequate....most of the time.
Your cameras should not be plugged into the router. They all should be plugged into a proper POE switch. Then the BI pc should also be plugged into this same switch.
You don't want any camera traffic passing through the router to get to BI.

I should have clarified. I have 2 different POE modems that cameras connect into. Then those connect to router. POEs are unify.

Bad camera CCD possibly water ingress and or corrosion, trash it, use proper dielectric grease and silicone to prevent this.
It could also be just a bad camera from the factory.

That is very rare.

True it is rare, but we average 1 in 50 has some issue from factory, that's about the industry standard of 2% not high but it is a possibility especially if the camera is a knockoff or junk brand. And if we count fake or buggy firmware I can safely say that could be much higher especially on ebay/amazon cameras!

We try our best here to steer folks away from the ebay/amazon junk cameras.

Great advice!
Still on topic id replace the cam and secure it from the elements as you said with dielectric grease and silicon, also make sure all screws are snug and hope no gaskets we're pinched during install.
