Opinions of the best value wide-angle non-ptz indoor cams for Blue Iris?

I'm looking for Blue Iris compatible, high value, low cost, Ethernet wired, indoor, non-PTC, wide angle, H.264, 720p, stable security cams.

The new Foscam C1 looks good on paper for $60-$70, but they are backordered, and I've not read of anyone using them with Blue Iris.

Anyone have any good experience with something along those lines?

Forget about foscam...look at the hikvision 2432 cube camera...PIR sensor, line cross detection..poe or wifi...get the 2.8mm lens if you want a really wide angle..

fenderman makes a good reccomendation, an alternative would be the hik 2135 dome, which will take a 2.8mm lens as well. although small, its not terribly discrete if thats what your looking for. dahua has equivalents to both the hik models, but i'm partial to the hiks.

The foscam c1 paper specs say a wider angle, 115 degrees vs 79 degrees, and a cheaper price which are attractive. What sort of protocol does Blue Iris use to get the feed on the hikvision 2432? Is it RTSP? Also, does the hikvision stay connected, and is it more solid with Blue Iris?

If you look at the spec sheet the 115 is diagonal, its 100 for the horizontal fov, which is the same as you will get with the hikvision 2432 using a 2.8mm lens and running at 1080p....Foscam is a terrible brand and i would stay away at all costs..you can use the hikvision 2cd option in blue iris...The hikvision is a superior camera in every aspect..

What do they cost, and could you recommend a seller?
The cheapest route for the 2432 is aliexpress...cctv china has been know to be a good seller..remember to specify the 2.8mm lens...it will be about 120
This is a 2mp version of the 2432..it runs rebranded hikvision firmware

If you want the 2432 from a US seller nellys (a site vendor here) is a great choice...It will be more expensive though

screw Foscam op, go Hik. Been there, wasted money. Now on Hik's - phenomenal compared to Foscam rubbish.
