I am looking for an NVR that can handle 60 cameras. Currently the cameras are older Panasonic 720p cameras and I am thinking about replacing them with Hikvision h.265 cameras. I have been looking at the DS-96064NI-I16. I have not dealt with a system this large before and the needs of the system are pretty basic. Anyone have experience with this NVR or suggestions for another NVR?

I have a 9632 and have not had any trouble. If you are considering 60 cameras you may want to consider the 96128 since you always end up adding additional cameras.

I would consider using two DS-7732ni, it would give you greater flexibility than a single NVR and a fail save if one fails.

Thanks for the suggestions. After asking more question, the total number of cameras will be 73. I like the DS-96128NI-I24/H but after reading the specs I'm concerned about capacity. Only 20 channels @ 1080p. I'm not sure if this is viewing or recording.

20 channel playback. 128 channel input as long as you don’t exceed 768 Mbps bandwith
