Auto Hit Parked Car On My Corner

Exactly......and it begins back at the stop sign when they start making their left turn without regard that a white Ford Ranger is clearly coming.

Back in the day, we were distracted by swapping out cassettes, or later CDs while trying to drive. Now we have these incredible gadgets that offer so much functionality in the palms of our hands. It takes more will power than a lot of folks have to ignore them.

I'd be really surprised if there wasn't some texting going on there. But you can't rule out booze or other drugs, or some other cause, I guess.

Then look where she parks after the accident. She is screwing up the right turn traffic at the intersection. I was thinking she was debating whether to just drive off or not. However I came out of my house and let her know everything was on camera just in case she had those thoughts.

Ok, I figured out what was wrong with my editor. Here is another view of the accident from a different camera. You get a better perspective of where she parked her car after the accident.

That would have been funny if she had hit the black truck with the overnighters in the truck. Hehehe

Here is a video of the damaged car and also showing the participants. The large man on the right is the owner of the black Mercedes and about to become an IP camera owner. He currently has a Ring system. I believe that is his daughter next to him. I also believe the lady getting into the passenger side of the car was the driver of the car when it hit the Mercedes.

You know, @looney2ns says it all the time, clean out the garage and use it for what it's made for, parking your car. This shit happens when your car is parked on the street.

Here is a still picture to show the damage to the Mercedes. AAA told him to take it to a Mercedes autobody shop. I wonder how they are going to match the paint?

One final twist to this whole thing. The lady in the white BMW was coming over to pick up her daughter who was at the owner of the Black Mercedes house. She did not know at the time that the black Mercedes belonged to the father of the person that her daughter was visiting. Talk about some irony.

For those who want to know 4 cameras were involved in this. The were a combination of Hikvision and Dahua cameras. Two bullets with varifocal lens and two PTZ cameras.
