Help with zone crossing

I'm trying to figure out how to setup zone crossing, my attempts this have haven't been successful so I was hoping someone here could guide me a little bit.

This is the camera view, I want to trigger om humans coming and leaving.

I actually looked at the last video yesterday, but I'm still doing it wrong. Here is how I have it now, just tried and it didn't trigger on me walking out from the house.

Zones: A-B

I am not an expert at zone crossing but one feature that really helped me was the "Test run video through motion detector".
Record yourself crossing the zones and when you play back the clip, right click and select that option.

watch the video again...make sure the zones do not overlap and that the gap has its own zone and not just left uncovered......the video explains this.
