V380 software

I have been trying to install the v380 software for my ip camera. So far the software installs fine however I cannot get it to connect to wifi. Says signal too weak, I even placed my phone on the router, checked password is fine so I have no idea what is going on. Any suggestions.

Welcome to the forum...step one, return the camera. Step two do some research before buying the replacement..

I understand that but what would that HAVE to do with installing the software on my cell phone. It's the phone I can't seem to get connected to wifi when using the app

garbage camera with buggy software..why keep something that is low end junk...

Donald - as the kids say today, "I feel ya". In my 60+ years of playing in electronics, I have found that price does not always equal quality. I recently acquired a couple of the low-end ($20.) cameras that use this V380 software and find them to work fine. It did take some trial and error to get them working. My suggestions for you:
Make sure you really do have wifi/internet access.
Try different cell phone/tablet. Borrow a friends , you can always un install the app.
Take your camera and phone/tablet to another wifi location and try all the things you have already tried.
Be patient...Try everything twice.
