That's great! Very good to hear it got there so quickly! Sorry hear about the support issues with 8mp - likely not a remedy but to be sure, would a firmware update work?

Speaking of firmware, the Dahua 4K I got last year had some image quality issues where the image would be sharp and clear for only a few seconds after applying the encoding settings, then it would degrade and remain poorer quality until the next time the encoder got reset by saving the encoding settings again. If you notice the same thing, a firmware update for the camera should fix it.
