In BI camera motion sensor tab, can't edit zones and hot spot

For some reason, on each of my cameras, I am no longer able to edit the zones and hot spots. When I go into the motion sensor configuration screen, Use Zones is checked but the edit button is grayed out. I've edited them before but now can't.

Any ideas?

are you logged into the pc as admin?

I only have one user on that system (WIN10 home) and it is at administrator level. BI is running as a service.I just checked task manager under services and BI is running under user SYSTEM.
