VPN Help

I have been trying to setup a VPN for a few days now. I am having more trouble than I thought I would. I have been following this guide:
Easy_Windows_Guide – OpenVPN Community

I was finally able to get a connection between my Samsung S4 and my home computer that I am running the OpenVPN server on.

Now I am stuck. If I am connected to the VPN I can't browse any websites or see my cameras. So I tried to follow the "routing all traffic (including web traffic) through the VPN" on the OpenVPN How to.

I added the following lines:
push "redirect-gateway def1"

push "dhcp-option DNS 8.8.8.8"
push "dhcp-option DNS 8.8.4.4"

But I still can't browse the internet from my phone. I've tried temporarily disabling my windows firewall to see if there is something there blocking me.

When using chrome browser from my phone I get:
dns_probe_finished_no_internet

Why are you using google dns ? Nothing wrong Jw

Nothing wrong with google dns however it's open!! What router do you have?

Ah that is the problem don't think you can setup vpn on it. I think you neeed a pi . You can always setup vpn per machine

I am running openVPN from an always on computer. I needed to turn on ip forwarding in windows 10. It appears to be working correctly now.

I don't no how helpful is will be but check this out here.

Or you could just install open vpn on your BI machine and use it that way
