Hi all,
I recently installed a Dahua NVR4108HS-8p-4KS2 with a wired 22404 T-GN,m which is connected directly to the NVR. IP-address is 10.1.1.66. It appears twice in the registration tab on the NVR (device and webservice):
channel 1: IP-PTZ dome - IP: 10.1.1.66 - port: 3777
channel 2: IP-PTZ dome - IP: 10.1.1.66 - port: 2
In several viewers (gDMSS plus, webbrowser, the NVR interface this camera.
I have deleted this camera several times: i have tried to delete one camera at a time (each port of course) and both cameras at the same time. However, it keeps coming back...
My questions:
- is this normal?
- does this camera use two channels? And does it record over two channels (by default)
- what can I do about it?
I don't really like this. I don't need two screens of the same camera (I know I can turn that off).
More notions that might be relevant:
- IP of the NVR is fixed (and connected by UTP-cable to the router), on the NVR I chose DHCP when possible.
- I also added a wireless connected DH-SD22204T-GN-W. (IP address is 192.168.xx.xx, assigned by the router).
Could someone shed some light on this issue?
Thanks!!
