Hi, I am running 5.5.4.4 still and its been working fine. I have 7 cameras and plan to add 1 more. I was thinking i should upgrade to the 5.9.9.59 and buy a new subscription but was wondering if it will hurt or help performance. Right now, if i have the BI program running and open on the hosted PC it uses much more CPU but i prefer to use it that way since that system is right next to me, quality is better, i can control everything from there, etc. But then people using the web interface see its running 80-100% CPU. (Without the main desktop program open its at 50% CPU).
If I add the 8th camera, it might get even worse. So just trying to plan that if I pay and upgrade to the latest version, and it makes performance worse, i will need a new higher end PC as well.
Also the links in Settings to Purchase/extend support dont work? Is it too old and i have to pay full price again to upgrade?
Any thoughts?
