When I attempt to add a new camera to the NVR NVR 5232-4KS2 without POE, it looks for the password, but for some reason it wont take more than 10 digits, I use 19 digits when i log in with IE.
Any thoughts ?

yes I did but the strange thing is my first camera I added has a 19 digit password, cant figure out what changed.

dahua dont sell individual parts, try using the OSD, SmartPSS or the Chrome App and see if they let u put in more chars
Chrome app does let you put in a larger number but then I cant add to the NVR. No worries 10 is secure enough. Its just that I have a very unique password system I use so I never forget a password from any site I visit but this works.
