what happens when the memorycard has no more space ?

I have this camera DS-2CD2345FWD-I with a memorycard inside.

I'm not sure what happens when the memorycard runs out of free space. I connect to the camera using a webbrowser, and I can't see any option on what to do with the storage (memorycard) when there is no more space. I would expect it to delete the oldest recordings first, but is it what it is doing ?

There’s a setting in there somewhere for storage. Just like an nvr it’ll either overwrite or stop.
