I was going to buy this kit I7604N1TP that has the 4 turret cameras each 4MP and 2.8mm focal length. (DS-2CD2342WD-I)
So I think the 2.8mm would be ok for most areas like close to door entrances, but there is an area on the side of the house which I'm not sure if the 2.8mm would be ok
It is pictured below, and I want to place the camera along the side of the brick house somewhere (the brown part is actually an extension built later, but I don't want to drill anything into the side of that.
The direction I'm facing when taking the image is from the backyard facing toward the street. so if anyone was going to enter they would most likely do so form the street. So I' wanted to point it facing that way.
Do you think I can get away with the 2.8mm for such a narrow area? Or will I image too much of my neighbours side.
