Searching for something that I should know but can't come up with the name for the life of me. Picture a plate either circular or rectangular. In the center there's a circle. Split the circle horizontally across the center and deform the upper half out to form a hood and either remove or push in the bottom half to form an entrance for a cable. What the heck are those things called? I'm thinking service entrance or cable entrance but that's not getting me what I'm looking for,

It's funny, I saw these and didn't send you the link because IMO they didn't sound like your decription! :p

Glad awonson got you dialed in.

Yeah, my description was a little different. The ones that I was thinking of were made of metal like a plate or round electric box cover and the "hood" pressed out with a punch die (I assume). But same idea and the one I found will work for my purposes and probably look better. Long story but I had a cam mounted on a hollow post in my landscaping. I got a dog, put up a fence, so the cam needed to move. At the same time, one of my TP-Link CPE210 P2P devices that I use to connect to cams and other things in a shed died. So I'm going to turn the hollow post into a distribution point for a cable going to the cam, one out to the shed, POE switch, POE splitter for an IR emitter, etc. Wanted something to cover the hole where the cam was mounted and to run the cables out and down the back side of the post.
