Firefox reported an update to web components this morning, it now appears that changing any camera image settings directly at the camera UI has no affect on the camera
No scrap that... now it appears to be working ??? no idea what happened there, it was definitely not working for a while, i opened another tab in firefox, typed this post went back to the camera UI and now it is working ??? wierd
and upon a bit of head scratching i now realize it was user error, the camera is on a schedule switch over ( 8am ) between night and day, the image i was seeing was a day light image although the camera was technically still on night setting as it was just before 8am, i was adjusting day time image before it had switched over.. my bad
