I have an issue where the VTO/ VTH can't talk to each other via the NVR switch. The VTO works fine as an IP cam alongside the other cams but it wont connect to the VTH.
I think it looks like the new firmware blocks direct access to camera web interface even when your laptop is in the same subnet as the camera. (thanks to icecoffee for working this out)
The advanced IP scanner produced the same short list as the arp-a command from the dos prompt. Neither showed the camera or VTO/VTH IP addresses.
Any advice on how to get the VTO/ VTH to work properly and also to have the VTO video as part of the cam network?
Cams: PC-HDW5831R-ZE
NVR: NVR5216-16P-4KS2E
Plus: VTO2111/ VTH1550
