VSIP3MPVDIRM2.8-12 hardware or firmware issue?

Hi, I have a used camera, brand is VIP Vision, model VSIP3MPVDIRM2.8-12 (I think it's Rhinoco or dahua rebranded) and was told it worked but I'm unable to access it via the web browser or from the NVR. I have tried resetting the camera. I can it and can see it on the network, it has a ping and I can see it using Wireshark but no luck on the browser. When the camera starts it does not sound the best and the IR lights are not turning on in the dark either. I have tried ssh but cannot log in. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can diagnose the camera to determine if it's a hardware or a firmware (software) issue?

Hi all,
Closing this thread, I managed push a new firmware to the device using the config tool on port 3800. After all it was not hardware but firmware, the camera is working now.
