I would also like to mention that when a spotter cam trigger the ptz and when the ptz move to the desire preset, user needs to be aware of few seconds of delay (reaction time) as well as the distance between 1 preset to another preset.
If the distance between presets are too close, user will risk missing the subject and the subject walking out of the field of view before ptz could "settle" and starts tracking.

Did this ever get done?
Would be very helpful to have discrete trigger based upon individual IVS rules.
It is still a work in progress to make it more user friendly, but here is a thread with how someone went about figuring out the various IVS rules to accomplish it.
