Thought I'd start a new thread - my H.264 cams are direct-to-disk and look great. My mpeg cams are encoded with the h.264/mpeg4 codes and as far as the further configurations I left them all as default. However, the video playback is a bit blurry and pixelated. Should I change some of the configurations? As far as fps, they are all set at 10fps and the automatically adjust is checked off.

post a screen shot or of whats going on..as well as your settings.

The first photo is the webserver settings which are not relevant to recording.
Can you upload a video to youtube of the issue you are having?

Did you see the second? Basically the live video feed is crisp and the recorded video is more blurry and fuzzy. Almost as if you have satellite tv and a cloud goes over and it gets pixel-looking.

I switched from bi recording to windows movie to see if it looks better.
