I have looked up a several different brand of CCTV kits out there, just looking for a reasonable image quality - I'm surprised at how cheap these kits are but there is one thing that I'm suspicious of, is that they seemed to be tied to their 'cloud' app - to connect to their DVR, just simply scan the code from the box or DVR, it will be connected automatically via the internet but are these DVR always connected to their cloud system?
Just curious to know as I was helping out a friend with their cheap CCTV system connected to the router by LAN, the LAN and Internet status blinking constantly even through we didn't connect to the cloud at all. I have been googling for this but it seemed that they don't want us to know or just simply lack of information?
