I'm about to start mounting my collection of Hikvision DS-2CD2385FWD turret cameras and had a look at the supplies that came with the camera.
The cameras will be mounted on the eaves around the house, which are made of (sturdy) gyprock. Will the supplied plugs and screws hold the weight of the camera just fine? They look rather flimsy.
I've typically used spring toggles for mounting ceiling lights, but maybe that's overkill in this case? Would be good to hear from others who have already done this, just to be sure.
