Setup:
3x dahua starlight cams POE
1x amcrest baby monitor cam WIFI 1x dahua 8 channel NVR
I have the 3 dahua cams connected to a 8 channel 100/1000 POE switch, and the switch connected to my ATT router. I have the amcrest WIFI cam connected to the router over 2.4ghz. The dahua NVR is connected over ethernet directly to the ATT router.
Local viewing: SmartPSS on windows PCs, TinyCam Pro on nvidia shields, NVR connected to TV
Remote viewing: DMSS on android/iphones
On all 4 cameras I have p2p enabled, and the only other network setting I changed was giving each camera a static IP address. (Though I did test this with p2p disabled, see below)
I have my 4 cameras all added to my NVR (not directly in the poe ports, just in the GUI)
All of this works perfectly while the ATT internet is connected, though I'm trying to get this working with internet disconnected. Note: I have tested this with p2p enabled and disabled for all devices, with the same outcome.
Testing: I unplug the broadband link from my ATT router. I have rtsp feeds running on tinycam pro on the shield to check the connections. In SmartPSS, I have individually added all 4 cameras, as well as the NVR. So I have the 4 individual camera feeds open, as well as the NVR feed which combines the 4 cameras together.
I also opened the webpage setup (entered ip address for each camera into browser) for each camera to check the feeds directly that way.
Result: About 10-15 minutes after I unplug the broadband from the ATT router, some of the feeds start to fail.
SMartPSS: The 3 POE dahua camera feeds continue to stream. The amcrest wifi camera stops streaming. The NVR with the 4 combined feeds stops streaming.
TinyCam Pro: The 3 rtsp feeds from the POE dahua cameras continue to stream. The rtsp feed from the amcrest wifi camera stops streaming.
Browser feeds: The 3 POE dahua camera feeds keep streaming, and the amcrest stops streaming.
After about 2-5 minutes the cameras that failed start to stream again, and within 10 minutes they all start are back running. After they run for 10-15 minutes successfully, the streams start to fail again in the same manner.
Ultimately, the only issue I'm experiencing is the NVR feeds failing, and the amcrest feed failing.
Any help with this issue is appreciated, thanks for reading.
