Good afternoon,

I just got a new B54IR-Z4E-S3. Connected into to port on NVR8CH-8p-2AI just fine. Status light green. Can see live image. Also can see live image on DMSS app via iPhone. When I log into NVR via explorer, and I hit the little explore icon to load the camera interface, I get a wrong password error. It "should" be admin and then the password of my NVR correct? I never assigned any password to the camera when the NVR initialized the cam. Just plugged it into the poE port and let the NVR do its thing?

Thanks!

Correct if the camera was brand new

Could be a browser issue I guess. What are you using? Mac or PC?

How did you add it to the DMSS app?

Ok if it just "appeared? its got P2P on by default in the NVR fyi. Thats fine

Try a different browser

IE, Edge in IE mode, Pale Moon 32

well full discloser, i guess it did not just appear...lol when I first hit the blue IE button to open the cam in a browser, it prompted me to connect P2p which I did...anywho, I tried safari, IE, and chrome... NO luck.......bizarre

Also, after the NVR did the initialization, I did do the factory reset thing 3 times (while still plugged into NVR) in preparation to install firmware). The cam is still in basement just temp connected to NVR is there is something easier I can do to just try this again???

Well through fucking around and entering several passwords, I found one that worked...It was NOT the same password as my NVR so not sure how the NVR assigned it a different password. However the password that the camera webpage login accepted WAS a password I have used intially for the camera that my new camera replaced which was in this SAME port on the NVR....soooooo not sure if that means anything to you but I solved it and can successfully login to the cams UI and have changed the password to match my NVR. Thanks for helping though. I appreciate your input as always.
