Touch screen monitor support with Dahua NVR?

Does anyone or have anyone tried running a touch screen monitor with Dahua NVR via USB connection? There are monitors that are plug-n-play with PCAP/HID support and was wondering if Dahua's NVR would support it. Obviously, I think Dahua would just see it as a regular mouse and a cursor might still exist. Just wondering.
 
Yes, I did and it doesn't work for me. I ordered a cheap 10" Johnwill touchscreen from Aliexpress for this purpose. It works when connected to my Windows 10 laptop and Android phone, but not with my Dahua DHI-NVR4104-P-4KS2.
