Tinycam Monitor PRO Android - 100% dropped frames

I'm running Tinycam Monitor PRO 15.2 Beta-2 with 4 Ip cameras on an old Android 6 smartphone.

I configured an IP cam like that:
Codec: H264 HW
Protocol: RTSP over UDP
Video url: rtsp:/1.2.3.4:554/onvif1

I have dropped frames from 98% to 100% .
When 98% I have "received frames: 20.o fps" but "displayed frames" 0.3 fps.
When 100% of frames are dropped, I have 0% received frames.

If I use the rtsp urlwith VLC video streaming is smooth and nice.

Saying that I'm not able to use nice features like motion detection and so on since I don't have a smooth video rendered in the app


Any suggestions?

No expert here, but did you try using software encoding instead of hardware? As I recall, this helped me with a similar issue.
