I have two tenvis cameras, both are a few years old but upto about a month ago they were working fine.

One has just conked out, cant reset it or anything.

The other one, I have plugged it into my router using ethernet cable.
I then use the Tenvis search tool on my pc
I see the camera listed.
I can see the IP and port (the port is forwarded on my router)
I double click the camera and it opens it in my browser
I can see the live stream, the URL has the local IP and port
Now in the camera settings in the browser i goto Wifi Setting, I see my 2.4ghz wifi network listed (i have 5G but the 5ghz and 2.4ghz are on seperate SSID)
i now enter the correct wifi password
I press save.

The problem starts now, it shows the loading/processing icon animation but just stays like that even after an hour...
No I also cant access the camera in the browser, cant see the camera feed or settings.

Is there a solution?

Update:
I was fiddling around and changed the port number in the tenvis search tool > cameras network settings
Then added this port to routers firewall and forwarded it

camera now connected to the wifi and works as normal

FWIW, port forwarding (NOT recommended) should not be required when accessing the camera locally via your LAN.:wtf:
