Blue Iris can leverage any existing 1 or 2 way audio with a camera if the camera itself has that capability. But the camera would need a speakers and/or a microphone.
My Ubiquiti G3 camera comes with a microphone, so audio gets recorded, too. My cheapie Annke wi-fi camera has both a speaker and a microphone.
Yes, most need amp and speaker. See threads in new pir dahua with built in speaker. Is there a dahua camera that will do that?

the camera output has to go to the amp, then from the amp to the speakerWhat else do i search for? I searched 2 way audio and blue iris 2 way audio but never got any results for the amp and speakers.
