Synchronized multiple cams

Just trying to figure out exactly how this feature works. Do you need all cams to have time synced?
also do multiple cameras need to start recording at same time? For instance if I walk into my garage then my service door could I see 1 camera lead to the other on a recording?

Welcome to the forum. Blue iris does the sync for you..however, if you are using motion detection only the cameras that are triggered will display during playback - beginning from the time they are triggered - independent of each other..
Blue iris does however allow you to set cameras in groups and trigger all the cameras when a single camera is triggered.
