Swann DVR16-4500 - Missing Recorded Events

Strange things always happened to my Swann DVR16-4500. Did event search and search results list several motion detection events (motion detected events have been recorded), played it back fine but after an hour or 2, I went back to do same exact time event search, search result list "No file searched". The motion detection events recorded found an hour ago were now missing (gone). It seems suspicious, recorded events are being deleted, this only happens when a certain person is visibly very near my house.

Can someone jam signal wirelessly that will result to deleting a recorded event on DVR? Can anyone enlighten me if this is a possibility? Thanks.

That's a TVI/bnc DVR right? I have a DVR4-4500 and there isn't anything wireless about it. Even so, the wireless jamming of events or whatever is pretty unrealistic and probably not what's happening here.

1. How do you have it set to record? If it's continuously recording and marking the time of the events, can you manually browse through the playback to the time of the event and view the footage that way?

2. How are you accessing the DVR to view the footage of the events? Web interface on a computer, SWANNview program or whatever it's called, or the physical DVR?

1. I set all the cameras to motion detection.
2. I tried all of the above, viewed recorded events and then hours later gone.
