Pulling my weight
I'd like to hear more about this PTZ in the woods. I have woods, and have kicked around a camera out there, maybe even pointing back towards the house!
Before I offend anyone sensibilities please remember this is only a temporary wire run - I didn't beat the ground freezing
There is a cat5 and 14ga underground rated low voltage cable. The camera is an Amcrest IP4M-1053EW

I've had a POE line out to the camera a couple of hundred feet behind my house with the cable buried only a couple of inches in the ground for 3+ years now, so if you offend someone's sensibilities, you can only imagine the daggers I'm getting. 
You just can't beat these things out there for getting to see real nature as it happens, and we've seen plenty of encounters.

I just hope you can get it underground before one of the creatures you want to watch snag it and bring it all down. Good luck.
