Hello,

I could need some help and advise on plannung for surveillance of a larger lot of a friend of mine, who asked me for support.

The lot is a rectangular area of about 75m x 45m. The lot will be entirely fenced and six lighting poles of approx 5m height will be installed (yellow dot in picture). Also, the poles are planned to be used for the installation of (POE) network cameras.

Goal is, to identify individuals while entering the premises through the entrance gate or by climbing over the fence.

Plan is to use Hikvision or Dahua components to set up a 24/7 surceillance system. Ideally with some type of realtime notification to one or several people's mobile phone.

As this is our first setup of such size (and complexity?): Therefore, it would be great if we received some expert level input from the forum members who are more into the details are we are at present. It would be awesome, if there would also be some recommendations for suitable cam's.

Please apologize my bad english, as I am from Germany.

Setting up surveillance for a larger lot requires careful planning to ensure comprehensive coverage and security. www.calculatebrasize.com Start by identifying key areas such as entrances, exits, parking spaces, and blind spots, and use a mix of wide-angle cameras and PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras for flexibility. Opt for high-resolution, weather-resistant cameras with night vision and integrate the system with a central DVR/NVR for recording, remote monitoring, and motion detection alerts.

Got bot?

I would be happy to get some feedback from the experienced members of this forum regarding the project, in addition to the comments so far.
Many thanks
