Suggested form factor/camera for indoor PoE cameras?

I have previously been using the "cube" style cameras (mine made by Hikvision/LTS) throughout my home and while these do get the job done:

I wanted to see if others have thoughts on a better form factor for cameras installed throughout the interior of a house that might be more aesthetically pleasing. I've heard of the mini-dome style cameras, which seem like they might be a good choice:

Anyone have suggestions or recommendations?

I currently use Blue Iris as my NVR, so as many here also do, I would prefer ONVIF or RTSP supported cameras. Although, I've had someone locally suggest I move over to the Unifi/Ubiquiti ecosystem, but I've read where some people in the forums mention that if you do this then you're paying for "less superior" cameras (maybe the UI and "ease of use" in that ecosystem makes up for it?)

Thanks!

Inside a house, domes would be fine. No bugs/dust/UV to damage and distort the dome covering.
