Looking for a decent outdoor PTZ with 20 or 30x optical zoom for under 1k night vision does not matter.

I would like to see the video quality before i bought the PTZ but there is not much out there on Hikvision PTZ cams, i was looking at the DS-2DE4220-AE but found no video from that model.

I have a bunch of Hikvision 2032 and they have spoiled me with great picture quality and the cheap price.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum..here is a sample of a hikvision ptz.. dont forget to bump it to 1080p
you can assume the video will pretty much the same across most of their ptz models as they use the same sensors and lenses.
What do you intend to use the camera for?

The black PTZs with IR come to mind... I don't know the model numbers off the top of my head but often people want their PTZ's lens angle to be obscured more than the white model..

I want it for my weather station to do time lapse videos of the snow and home security. I currently use 3 2032 they work fine and have good quality but i want something that can pan, tilt and zoom.
vector18. How much is it and is that the 30x one?

Where is a good place to buy Hikvision PTZ? ebay and aliexpress most places don't have PTZ.

there is also another Dahua ptz with an excellent price less expensive and very good, these models [h=1]Dahua SD59230S-HN 1080P IR PTZ and also exists in 20x with SD59220S-HN , fast, excellent by night, with discrete ir. The prices of these models are very attractive for good quality and performances.[/h]

I do like the camera but do they have a POE model? In the specs it says it is but some sites say it's not (networkcameracrtic)

(I know it says that in the spec, but it comes with a power supply that works and I tried PoE+ and it didn’t turn on.)

That's a deal breaker :(

hello for the Dahua SD59230S-HN perhaps it is an old release that you have because for me it works with poe+ with no problem
we have received theses models 4 months ago and it is good. You need poe+, 20W to use it, not 15w poe.

I got a ZyXEL GS1100-8HP one year ago for $82 shipped when newegg was having a sale, to power my DH-SD42212S-HN. It has been just fine. Now dahua's web site only says it uses 12 watts since apparently this particular model does not have a heater but maybe it still requires PoE+ anyway. I went with PoE+ just to be safe.

I had a TP Link TL-SG1008PE. I like it enough that I'll be getting another one when I move back into my place.
