Yep, it is why we say uncheck the use mainstream for CodeProject. Using mainstream takes additional CPU and time as it downrezes.
And as you can see, a 640x480 means the objects gotta be kinda close and the biggest issue people have with CodeProject is trying to do too much with one field of view. That is usually why CodeProject either misses the object or misclassifies it.
Shutter speed is more important than frame rates. CodeProject simply "reads" a snapshot sent to it based on a triggered event. My LPR is 8FPS.
As it relates to BI, most find the BI is the most stable at 15FPS and 15 iframes.
