Short version: has anyone managed to install either a self signed cert or successfully requested a cert on a 2CD2132F-I?
I get "device error" for a self signed cert and "failed to set parameters" for a request.
Longer version:
I have three DS-2CD2132F-I that shipped on firmware v5.3.0 build 150513.
On the first two I enabled SSL using the embedded software cert (valid until 2018). The cert is for the default address and so I get a mismatch address SSL warning in browser, but it works. I later upgraded these to firmware 5.3.0 build 150814.
The third (which I have the issue with) I went straight from v5.3.0 build 150513 to build 150814 then tried to enabled SSL. This time I don't have the embedded software cert and get errors trying to set uop self signed or creating a request. I have tried going back to the original firmware and reset all setting, but no joy.
Hikvision UK support advised they think self sign certs are defunct on 5.3 firmware, pretty much said if it doesn't work it doesn't work.
