[Solved] Dahua "VTH is not connected to the Master VTO"

Hi
I have a doorbell Dahua vto2111d-p-s2 that works well with DMSS app
Just received today a monitor Dahua vth5221dw-s2
I've been able to upgrade the monitor, to set network IP, configure new admin password and to add the doorbell VTO
However, I still have the icon "VTH is not connected to the Master VTO" on VTH mainscreen.
And the main problem is that VTH doesn't ring when VTO is pushed (contrary to DMSS app that still ring)

Anything I could check ?

I believe, when the VTO call button is pushed, 2 things happen.
1.) The VTO connects to the cloud to push to your DMSS App
2.) The VTO locally tries to notify via SIP to your VTH's.
If local does not work, start your troubleshooting there.

hi, I made it finally.
For others who will search for that :
- I upgraded VTO and VTH to latest version

• VTO V4.511.0000000.0.R.20211116
• VTH V4.510.0000000.0.R.220111

then I did a factory reset on both
then I followed this guide : DahuaWiki
Now, it works completly.

Do you have a guide on how to factory reset? I cant get into the advanced settings for some reason.....I want to reset and start from fresh...

Hi self-solve warriors, my Doorbird beast died twice (after 4 years rip) and now out of warranty. Got a VTO 3321Q-WP & (2) VTH 5341G-W. Ethernet cat5
I plugged VTHs to my Dahua NVR. When I push config I only get a green check for the VTO.
Q1) The default 123456 don't work w/ Config Tool (But VTH unit accepts 123456). I plan to reset VTH passwords and try again.


Q2) After following the great video Dahua VTO/VTH (Villa/Apartment) I won't get the Apartment option :-(just standard Villa), after global parameters, etc.
