Does anyone know why the IVS does not show in the timeline in playback mode?
It will play back the IVS in the timeline but will not export.

Try the version v2.00 and higher... there is alot of changes made in this version. Maybe it will help you to do your wishes.

I have tried the 2.0, it is a whole new layout that has a few bigger issues.
If you export, the time is 1 hr off from the playback time and I didn't find a way to expand the timeline in that version.
