For myself I use blue iris and very happy with it.
My mother in law want 1 camera for the frontdoor , something like the "ring" you can buy nowadays. The doorbell itself is connected to another system , so I can't use the ring doorbell from nest or similar.
I am planning to install a small camera like this:

but I am unsure if it can be without a specific app be viewed. The plan is to use a vera 3 with Imperihome and use the browser option from imperihome to view that calera in a dashboard. Is it possible with these camera's , without blue iris to view the images with just an URL?
