Thanks. Wasn't aware that it doesn't do hardware acceleration. Are there a list of what CPUs actually have HA?Just my view but if it were me I’d be looking at a minimum of an i5-6500 as from that gen onwards there is support for H265 and the extra CPU power will hopefully give you some extra headroom.
It's a SFF.Make sure it’s not a mini as it’s cramped inside.
That will work. How about this? He sent me pictures and it looks new. $175 if I go get it and $200 to ship. He's around an hour away.
Elitedesk 800 G2
i5-6500
8GB Ram
256GB SSD
WIn 10 Pro
He did verify that it can take 2 full size hard drives and the SSD. Even has the Win 10 Pro license sticker on the case. I plan on using it with my 2 4k and 2 2MP cameras right now.If the 800 G2 SFF is the same inside as my 600 G2 then you fit 2 internal full size hard disks which for me is an extra bonus.

I plan on replacing the 2 4k Camera with a Loryta SD49225XA-HNR eventually. Is the 8GB ram enough or should I upgrade to 16GB?
Has 4 slots, not soldered on board.Just make sure it's not a model with soldered ram. One of the issues with some business machines is components such as CPU / RAM are sometimes soldered direct to the motherboard instead of in socketed holders. It's one way they keep the price down and one reason I dislike business machines.

Sweet action! Mine looked brand new too! Now the fun begins.
