Well, it's not as simple as you'd think.
I opted to power my cam with it's included 24vac power brick. The brick lives in the garage, and I ran 16awg wire along with the Ethernet to the cam on the roof from the garage.
Then at the cam end, I used a 24v to 12dc convertor, mounted in a junction box to power the mic. Similar to this:

Reason for this is, if you use a poe+ splitter, you can only power something that use's 12vdc, as the splitter does not pass along the POE+ power to the cam.

Yes i have same setup as you on the sd59225. Is there a mic that doesnt require power out there?

Technically, the 12vdc powered mics, are supposed to work without power, but at a lower volume.
All you can do is test and see.
With my 59225, the microseven barely picked up any sound when not powered.

Maybe i can get a long power wire extention and run it with the cat6 underground to camera just for the mic

That'lll work as long as the distance isn't too great, and don't go too small on the wire gauge. The microseven pulls a very small amount of juice, but voltage drop can come into play due to length of wire.

Just use the power wire

By the way, if it's underground, put it in pvc conduit, just for the sake of pulling another wire if need be down the road. But you still need to use wire that is intended to be buried. Even in conduit, it will eventually get wet.
You want to use burial rated cable.
