sd cards

I am going to buy a couple of 128gb micro sd cards for my imou cameras i can see that read speeds of about 90 to 100 mbs is ok ,how about write speeds 50 mbs or does it matter on speed
I take it that you can format cards on the imou cameras

I live in Houston Texas. I have had very few sd cards last more than 6 months outside do to the weather., None have lasted a year.

For most modern sd card the write speed is ok.
