So, some guys were buying a truck off FB marketplace. They live in North Houston far away from me, and got given an address somewhere else far away. They get there, and the truck sellers are nowhere to be found. Then they get told to meet down my street, outside some shady apartments, so they come out. They drive around a little, because they cannot see the truck they are purchasing which is apparently parked here. They decide to get out and stand on the corner with $10K in cash in a bag, and are robbed at gun point. The whole thing is a setup, of course. They plead with the criminals to not take their truck as its all they have for transport, and the criminals say they will just dump it near by.

So the criminals take their truck, dump it a few blocks down with the tires slashed. They get a ride to their truck with my neighbors

Criminals are in the silver Tundra, guys getting robbed are in the Black RAM

Long video because it includes everything

Skip to 17:36:20 to see the robbers pull up and start

Truck has never been here before. It has a real plate on the front which matches the vehicle

Plate looked up on Carvana, and VIN googled to find this image. Note the front bumper dent

The truck had come around a few times earlier to scope the place out

Between 4PM and 4:44PM they added the temp tag on the back

The victims managed to snap a short video of them running away, where the gun is visible in their right hand

I had a conversation with the guy when he came looking for video, and the amount of reg flags present in the transaction is shocking. 100% avoidable

Unsure why they chose this area, I guess they didn't know someone was running LPR a few houses down

It was on the next block, and the criminals told the victims they would dump it nearby, they just didn't want to be followed

17:36:20 actual time, in the video timestamp

OK, so now I understand. The silver truck pulls up and the two guys get out and rob the two other guys. The silver truck takes off and the robbers run up and take the victim's truck. Then the victims walk up to the white pickup and ask to be take to where the perps dumped their truck.

dumbasses
no overwatch and they are flashing the cash

Yep, multiple red flags before they ever even got the location

if they had simply requested to meet inside the bank, situation solved

WOW.

How long did it take for the police to show up?

The people waited like an hour, hour and a half to even call the police. They seemed confused how the process worked when they were at my door, so we called on speaker phone

They waited about 3 hours for an officer but no one came, so they called back and gave them their home address. I assume someone did show up, because there is an incident listed on the map with a case number

Great. Armed robbery of $10k, armed carjacking, destruction of property, and three hours later still no police.

In front of a police station also works, scammers and thieves show themselves quickly when you suggest that one.

That’s because there are more insane criminal activity happening every minute in Texas!

For the longest time I always thought my cousins and uncles were just inbread red necks.

Always going on about how they would kill somebody dead just simply standing on their property?!?

They would go on about how many people have been turned into ash, buried, or dump into a river / cliff face.

In 2024 I have a completely tempered view and opinion of them all.

They are still in bread red necks that are surrounded by all manner of people who have no remorse or second thought about killing someone!

I believe there’s an absolute place for castle law / stand your ground. When and where it’s justified that someone intends to harm you, family, or property.

This especially true in a State where the right to bare arms and castle law rings supreme.

These two guys were simply too stupid to live yet did! The sun shines on a dogs ass once in a while I guess! :lmao:
