Hi,
Does anyone know how to make it so that the Dahua network keyboard (NKB5200) won't ask for a password to log in after power up? And what about just getting it to boot up and display a single camera?

I have a very simple setup, just a single camera that I want to have boot up and display onto a single monitor. The people who will be using this barely know how to read, so they just want it to open up when they turn it all on and not have to go through some lengthy process of logging in with a long password, selecting option A, holding their finger down to select the right camera etc. They just want to see what the camera sees when they turn it on.

No cyber-security issues here, the network is not on the internet. There's no internet where this thing is.

I've tried reading through the manual and doing the usual google searches, but all I can find is information about how to reset the password.

Thanks!

Because of the security issues that a Keyboard can cause Dahua has Enabled the Complex setup to keep the end user better secure.. Way and easy setup for Lab type setup if you will is to setup your password with something that is easy and fast to enter into the keyboard. like Aa123456! That is what I would do to make it so starting and logging into the keyboard is better and faster.. Other ways would be to dump the FW and take the data and make some changes and flash it back with some changed info that can make it so one wouldn't' need to log in. This isn't something easy and would require tools and programming. So best to just make an easy to enter password like Aa123456! Even sending a script to log in would require info from the keyboard for the encryption keys so again best to just make an easy for lab use password seeing you are saying security isn't much of an issue for its current setup.
